What to do after you’ve created a document
What to do after you’ve created a document
Once you’re done writing your document, save it with the button on the top of your screen. Don’t worry, you can return to it any time and make amends, attach file, select categories, and much more.
You share a document by clicking on “Permissions” underneath the document. There, you see the groups that have access to the document (if you don’t see them, no one has created a group yet). By a click on the name of the group, everybody who’s in the group can read the document. By clicking on the pencil next to the name, everybody in the group may edit your document.
You can also share a document with any individuals of your team in Matterial. Simply type in the persons’ names and Matterial finds them for you.
If you don’t actively give people the right to read or edit your document, it will remain visible only to you.
Once you shared a document, it shows on the dashboard of the people you have shared it with. You can also =>pin a document to your dashboard or other people’s dashboards if you have the right to do so.
