Create a Knowledge Flash

With the Flash button at the bottom right corner, you can quickly record an idea or request knowledge from someone — anytime, from any device.

Doing so will create a document stub that only has a title, and optionally a short description or attachment, e.g. an image. If you don’t do anything else, your Flash will appear in your right navigation as a task for you, so you won’t forget to return to it and make it a full document.

To request new knowledge, simply assign your flash to someone. This person gets the task to edit it. Once that’s done, you’ll get a notification.

When the Flash has been turned into a full document, the task disappears.

To get an overview of all Flashes, you can do a search by typing * into the search field. This shows you all documents. Beneath the search bar, click the filter “advanced”. There, select the option to show only Flashes.
