How to make new categories for your documents and edit existing ones

Categories are the tool for making sure everything in Matterial is in its proper place and can be found easily. Given you have the rights to do so, you can create new categories for documents or edit existing ones. Go to “Adminstration” in your navigation and select “Manage Categories”. Here you select the category type and add or delete the categories in that type. Those types and categories show beneath your documents and you can select them in order to assign your document to them.
